The Pro One Design Front Torsion Sway Bar System Was Engineered To Improve Front-End Ride Quality, Suspension Travel, And Overall Vehicle Stability. The Factory Front Sway Bar Plays An Important Role In Controlling Body Roll, But Its High Spring Rate Also Transfers Suspension Movement From One Side Of The Vehicle To The Other. When One Front Tire Encounters A Bump, Expansion Joint, Or Uneven Terrain, A Significant Portion Of That Impact Is Transmitted Through The Factory Sway Bar Into The Opposite Side Of The Suspension And Ultimately Into The Chassis. This Can Create A Harsher Ride, Increased Chassis Vibration, And Reduced Small-Bump Compliance.
The Pro One Design Torsion Sway Bar Is Engineered With A Carefully Tuned Torsional Spring Rate That Allows Greater Independent Wheel Movement During Normal Driving And Off-Road Suspension Cycling. Rather Than Immediately Transferring Every Suspension Input Across The Front Axle, The Torsion Bar Allows Each Side Of The Suspension To React More Naturally To Uneven Terrain, Resulting In Improved Ride Comfort, Better Tire Contact, And Increased Suspension Performance.
As Cornering Loads Increase, The Torsion Sway Bar Progressively Builds Resistance To Control Body Roll And Maintain Vehicle Stability.
