Description
The Pro One Design Adjustable Track Bar Is A Heavy-Duty Direct Bolt-On Upgrade Designed To Reduce Track Bar Deflection, Improve Steering Response, And Provide More Precise Control On Both Stock And Lifted Ford Super Duty Trucks. Built For Maximum Strength And Durability, This Track Bar Replaces The Factory Track Bar While Retaining The Factory Axle-Side Pivot Location To Maintain Proper Suspension Geometry.
The Main Bar Is Constructed From Heavy-Duty 1-5/8" O.D. X 1/4" Wall 1020 DOM Steel Tubing For Exceptional Strength And Resistance To Deflection. The Axle Side Features A Heavy-Duty 1" Spherical Bearing Installed In A Precision-Fit Cup Assembly That Presses Into The Factory Axle-Side Ball Joint Location. This Design Allows The Track Bar To Utilize A Strong Double-Shear Axle Mount While Retaining The Original Factory Pivot Location.
At The Frame Side, Pro One Design Uses A Heavy-Duty Forged Upper End With A High-Quality PTMEG-Based Polyurethane Bushing. This Design Provides A Strong, Controlled Connection While Helping Isolate Noise, Vibration, And Harshness For Improved Street Manners And Long-Term Durability. The Polyurethane Bushing Is Greasable For Smooth Operation And Extended Service Life.
Massive 1-1/4"-12 Left-Hand And Right-Hand Threaded Adjusters Allow Fast, Precise On-Truck Track Bar Adjustment, Making It Easy To Properly Center The Axle Under The Truck. The Double-Shear Axle-Side Mount Is Built With Heavy-Duty Steel Thats 3/8" Of Material Thickness At Each Bolt Tab. 17-4 Stainless Steel High-Misalignment Spacers Provide Additional Strength, Corrosion Resistance, And Proper Spherical Bearing Articulation.
By Reducing Track Bar Deflection And Unwanted Movement Between The Axle And Frame, The Pro One Design Adjustable Track Bar Provides A More Positive Steering Feel, Improved Steering Response, And Increased Control. A Worn, Loose, Or Deflecting Track Bar Is One Of Several Components That Can Contribute To Steering Instability And Death Wobble, Making A Strong And Properly Functioning Track Bar An Important Part Of The Ford Super Duty Steering And Suspension System.
