4.5" vs 5.5" 

You may notice that our springs—and those from other manufacturers—are listed as 4.5" or 5.5" for Ford applications, depending on the model year. The reason is simple: 2020 and newer Ford Super Duty trucks sit approximately 1" lower from the factory compared to earlier models.

Because of this, the same 4.5" leveling coil that provides 4.5" of lift on a 2005–2019 Super Duty will produce about 5.5" of lift on a 2020+ model. No components have changed—the newer trucks simply start from a lower ride height.

The exception is the 2020+ Super Duty TREMOR. These models come factory-equipped with a 2" lift/level, making them about 1" taller than a stock 2005–2019 truck. When using our 4.5"/5.5" spring on a 2020+ TREMOR, the front will gain approximately 3.5" of lift.
